Player-Pitch Baseball
Player-Pitch baseball is a more competitive division intended for players who have mastered the basic competencies of throwing, fielding and catching, but don’t yet have the size, skill, or maturity to play against 12-year-olds in Majors.
Teams play a traditional nine-player defense and players do the pitching. Baserunning and base stealing are active elements. Coaches stay off the field, aside from base-coaching and, if an independent umpire isn't available... umpiring.
Teams practice one or two times per week and play one or two competitive games per week. Standings are kept. In most cases, players must have completed at least one season of Coach-Pitch Baseball to be eligible for Player-Pitch Baseball registration.

Practices
One to two on a weeknight (same night week to week).
Games
Two. Generally one on a weeknight (varies week to week), and one on a Saturday.
Postseason
Yes, there is a competitive playoff bracket and a league champion is crowned.
Game Play
Pitching
Players do all of the pitching, with specific limits on pitch counts to protect kids’ developing arms. Early in the season, the league may modify the approach by — in lieu of walks — having coaches step in pitch when the player pitcher reaches four pitched balls.
Eligible for all-stars?
Yes, but players must participate in a minimum number of games to qualify.
How can my player prepare for the season?
Play catch. Practice the mechanics of throwing with a focus on accuracy. If they own a bat, practice swinging for strength and improving their stance. Watch baseball games on YouTube to study baserunning and responses to defensive situations.
