Register for Summer Ball 2026!

Summer baseball is a relaxed environment for kids to keep developing their skills and get exposed to playing against other towns.  We field teams at three levels: 

8U - Ideal for Coach-Pitch level players
10U - Ideal for Player-Pitch level players
12U - Ideal for Majors-level players

The season starts after the July 4th holiday and runs roughly six weeks. Teams don't practice, but play twice a week on weekdays. 

Going out of town? That’s great! Summer Ball assumes that players will miss games because of summer activities.

Games are played on South Portland fields and in other towns around southern Maine.

Registration is open to players who were registered for the 2026 season of South Portland Little League baseball or softball programs. There is a $25 registration fee for Summer Ball this year to help cover the cost of jersey shirts for the Summer Ball season.
