Summer Ball 2025!

Summer baseball is a fun, less intense, developmental opportunity for South Portland Little Leaguers who played during the 2025 season.

Register by Tuesday, June 24th.

Games are played in the evenings, Monday through Thursday, for five to six weeks starting July 7th. We’ll play against neighboring teams from Scarborough, Cape, Westbrook, Windham, TriTown, etc.

The teams we field will be based on player sign-ups and coach availability, but we will attempt to field an 8-and-under team, a 10-and-under team, and a 12-and-under team this season.

We encourage kids age 7-8 years old to play 8U which has modified Player-Pitch rules, 9- and 10-year-olds should play 10U and will follow Majors rules, and 11- and 12-year-olds play 12U. If you are interested in playing up an age group please let us know, decisions to move kids up will be based on roster size. (This is based on their Little League age for the 2025 Season)

All-Star players are eligible to participate in Summer Ball, we will look to arrange rosters to accommodate any players whose teams are still playing in the tournaments.

There is no cost to participate in Summer Ball, but players must have been registered for the 2025 regular season.
